What data tells?
This is a key question that I answer every day in my work. I am an R programmer - a specialist in data processing, analysis and visualization. Sociological background makes that I work mainly in the area of market and social research.
I believe that data allows us not only to make key decisions in business, but above all to notice and understand the changes taking place in the economy, culture and society.

About me
I specialize in the automation of data processing, advanced analysis and reporting. I have been professionally involved in data analysis since 2014. I have worked for companies in the research, cybersecurity, HR analytics, public and non-governmental organizations.
The tools I use on a daily basis are R, Shiny, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. I find the most satisfaction in projects in which results are reported in the form of applications/interactive dashboards. These are tailored Business Intelligence solutions.

I translate data into stories that everyone can understand. By placing data in appropriate contexts I create narrative and discover the unknown or previously imperceptible.

I advise on both strategic and technical issues. Wherever the goal is to discover knowledge from data.

What data tells about my blog?

The blog is a try to build something that I like to read (browse), and there is definitely not enough of it on the Polish Internet. A relatively loose format in which data is an excuse to draw attention to a topic, which is missed by public eye and which is, to use language former coach of the Polish football team, extremely important.
I do not intend to create dissertations, my goal is not even to provide an comprehensive description of the changes taking place in society. I would like only to present a handful of interesting information and synthesize it. Based on publicly available data. Without complicated conceptual framework and methodological intricacies, but in a way that is understandable to everyone and attractive to the eye.
Posts will have different forms. Sometimes this will be a videoblog, other times it will be an analytical dashboard with a description. I intend to play with form and conventions. Will I succeed? Time will tell :)

The first episode covers a very important topic and presents a very unusual format. I recommend it if you're curious about a) what characterizes Polish society in terms of education, or b) what data storytelling looks like...when made outdoors. To be honest it's not a cakewalk :)
